We believe whole
heartedly in offering first class value and service to anglers
and their families, along with top class fishing.
As such, our
rules are just common sense, with the emphasis on fish welfare,
as this is how we continue to keep our customers happy and our
fish in excellent condition.
Beausoleil is maintained so as to provide the very best
fishing and accommodation available to our customers. The regular
stocking and maintenance of the fishery are managed through quality
fish purchasing via accepted channels and selective processes.
We have few bans on bait with the simple exception of Beans,
Seeds and Nuts (excluding sweet corn).
We have been concerned
by the lack of understanding by a minority of anglers regarding
the correct preparation and cooking required of beans, seeds
and nuts, so we have banned these completely to ensure the safety
of the fish for all future customers.
Please contact us for advice
if you are unsure on any bait you may wish to bring with you.
High quality carp pellets, that we use to feed the fish on,
are sold onsite in 20kg sacks but please call for availability.
The lake and house are booked on a weekly exclusive use basis
for a maximum of 4 people.
Unhooking cradles are compulsory and these are provided for your use free of charge on site, along with the following: one 7ft catfish weigh sling, one set of 110 pound scales, one two man lifting weigh bar, 2 carp barrows, and a rowing boat (however you need to bring your own life jackets).
A maximum of three rods per angler at the venue, with a minimum of 15lb monofilament main line. For the safety of our fish we do not allow braid mainline, braid shock leaders, lead core or bent hook rigs to be used at Beausoleil.
There are no fishing permits or licences required to fish the
venue.
We will be available to help you throughout your stay, but firmly
believe in “it’s your holiday” and to leave
you to enjoy the fishing, peace and tranquillity unless you need
us.
